A choice (ENG)

My first substack! Also in english now :)

I haven’t always stayed the night with my partners because I wanted to spend more time with them.

Sometimes I stayed because going home alone was too dangerous.
Sometimes I stayed because if I left, I felt like someone else might take my place.
Sometimes I stayed simply because there was no way to get back.

But now I live in a safe city, where I could get up, walk just twenty minutes, and sleep in my own bed if I wanted to.

In a context where there is freedom to choose,
staying and falling asleep hand in hand
is a choice.
